A horrific high-speed crash occurred at a toll plaza in Karnataka when a speeding truck lost control and slammed violently into the toll barrier and a stationary vehicle.
According to police and CCTV footage, the heavy truck was traveling at high speed when it failed to brake near the toll lane, smashing straight through the safety barricades. The severe impact crushed the toll booth structures and severely damaged vehicles waiting in queue.
The truck driver died on the spot from the crash, while another individual sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital. Police have launched an investigation into potential brake failure or driver fatigue.
